Full Service Pediatrics

The Pediatric center offers all the traditional services of a children’s center including well-child visits, sick visits, physical exams, and special evaluations and conferences regarding behavioral and mental health issues, including attention deficit disorders, school phobias and failure.

There are also free prenatal consultations and “get to know you" visit’s. Dr. Wax will normally care for hospitalized children, coordinate care with the emergency room, and examine and take care of newborns in the hospital.

There is a 24hr telephone coverage, which means a call to the office after hours will be managed by a call service and referred to either Dr. Wax or Dr. Joseph Garcia, a board certified pediatrician practicing in Northern Perry Hall.

One – half hour before appointments begin at 10am is a period when Dr. Wax is immediately available to answer questions and discuss problems over the telephone.

If calls are received during appointment hours, they are returned as soon as is possible.
