Behavioral Conferences
Inevitabily in the course of a child’s development special issues surface which may require an extended visit with the doctor. These are usually scheduled with an open - ended appointment at the end of the day.
These issues can vary from children with oppositional tendencies, phobias, Autism, attentional issues, school failure, and depression. Sometimes parents are having trouble, for instance with toilet training or with a particularly defiant 4 year old which may require more time than is spent at a well- child visit. Extra time may be scheduled as a conference at the end of the day so both parents may be present. |
